Lower Colorado River Authority

IWR's Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) has entered into an agreement with the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) to facilitate HEC's provision of goods and services relating to Corps Water Management Systems (CWMS) software.

Purpose: This MOA establishes a framework governing the respective responsibilities of the partners for the provision of CWMS software installation and support.

Terms: HEC may provide the following goods and services in support of CWMS deployment at LCRA: 

  • Software installation and limited training
  • Software support
  • Software updates and betterments
About Lower Colorado River Authority

LCRA is a conservation and reclamation district created by the Texas Legislature in 1934. It supplies electricity, manages water supplies and dams, develops water and wastewater utilities, provides public parks, and supports community and economic development in 58 Texas counties.

About Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC)

The primary goal of HEC is to support the Nation in its water resources management responsibilities by increasing the Corps technical capability in hydrologic engineering and water resources planning and management. HEC also provides leadership in improving the state-of-the-art in hydrologic engineering and analytical methods for water resources planning.
