Integrated Decision Support Tools

The project has three principle components that will benefit from many other ongoing activities at IWR and USACE, such Climate Change and Sustainability Program and the Asset management program. The first component is the integration of the web based GIS tool, WIDT, similar to Corps Map, prioritization analyst module, and a logic module. The second component involves testing of the integrated decision support tools through pilots at the district and national level. The district level pilot involves developing logic rules with NWP district for Tainter Gate Spillway overhaul scheduling. The national level pilot integrates funding and priority logic for USACE services to allow the impact of different policy scenarios on the linkage between service and Value to the Nation. The third component are the programmatic linkages to the many programs and projects that are ongoing that will help drive the integrated decision support tool.
