Dr. Guillermo Mendoza has been awarded a National Research Council Research Associateship. He joins IWR to work with Eugene Stakhiv and Hal Cardwell to support the International Center for Integrated Water Resources Management (ICIWaRM) and Shared Vision Planning.
Previous to IWR, Dr. Mendoza worked as a modeler for New York City Department of Environmental Protection, led the water resources efficiency component as a long-term contractor for a USAID-Honduras project, and led and developed the water component for an ecosystem service valuation tool for the Natural Capital Project at Stanford University's Woods Institute for the Environment. Dr. Mendoza completed his Ph.D. in 2002 at Cornell University.
