ALEXANDRIA, VA — March 20, 2009. Dr. Kenneth Strzepek, Professor at the University of Colorado, will join the Institute as the 2009-2010 Maass-White Visiting Scholar. Dr. Strzepek's expertise with the World Bank will make him a valuable participant in Corps efforts to develop technically sound, practical plans and procedures for water adaptation to climate change. More about Dr. Kenneth StrzepekDr. Strzepek's experience includes that of professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, professor of Economics, senior research fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute, international fellow in the Center for Environmental Economics and Policy for Africa at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, founding director of the Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES) at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and collaborations at the World Bank.
