Dr. Stacy Langsdale

Dr. Stacy Langsdale was awarded a National Research Council Research Associateship and joined IWR under that program, working with Hal Cardwell and others on "A Critical Analysis of Modeling Tools and Stakeholder-Based Decision Support Processes for Application in Water Resources Planning and Management."

Dr. Langsdale completed her PhD in Resource Management Environmental Studies from the University of British Columbia in Spring 2007. Her dissertation was titled "Group Model Building for Exploring Water Management and Climate Change Futures in the Okanagon Basin, British Columbia, Canada." She also has a Masters in Hydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Langsdale's work experience includes time with Whitman, Requardt and Associates (civil engineering consulting firm), the Desert Research Institute, BC Hydro, and UBC's Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability. Stacy is Co-Chair of the Visiting International Fellowship Committee of the Environmental Water Resources Institute (EWRI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She is also active in the American Water Resources Association and the System Dynamics Society.
