IWR Team Members Address Annual Meeting of National Institutes for Water Resources

February 25, 2008 – IWR will address the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR) during the late February meeting in Washington D.C. IWR Director Bob Pietrowsky addressed the NIWR Board on Sun Feb 24. On Tuesday, Dr. Hal Cardwell will discuss funding and collaboration opportunities alongside representatives of EPA, USDA and NOAA. Recent IWR Maas-White Fellow (2006-2007) and AWRA President Dr. Gerry Galloway will address the group on Wednesday. NIWR represents the fifty-four state and territorial Water Research Institutes and Centers in collective activities to implement the provisions of the Water Resources Research Act of 1984.
