PIANC Research Materials Available on USACE Library Website

April 10, 2009 – PIANC USA is working with the USACE Library Program to offer free online PIANC Research Material on the USACE Library Program website. All 15 of the PIANC reports currently available in electronic format have been uploaded to the site and are available for free downloads as a pdf. The on-line reports cover navigation topics related to inland, maritime, recreation, and the environment. Recently uploaded reports include titles such as: Climate Change and Navigation; Design of Movable Weirs and Storm Surge Barriers; and Disability Access Guidelines for Recreational Boating Facilities. The content and the amount of material will grow as more reports are supplied. The material is restricted to USACE employees, and may be found in the Online Catalog section of the Library Program website.
