Maass-White Collections

IWR hosts a special collection of water resources documents in the Arthur Maass – Gilbert F. White Reference Room, located at IWR in the Casey Building in Alexandria, VA. The room is dedicated to the contributions made by Arthur Maass, who led the Harvard Water Program from 1955 to 1965; and Gilbert White, who is considered the father of flood plain management.
