Brad Hudgens, Chief of Staff

Brad Hudgens, PE, D.WRE. USACE Institute for Water Resources (IWR). Brad currently serves as the Chief of Staff for IWR as well as the USACE Water Supply Business Line Manager. He previously served in the Southwestern Division as the first full-time technical director for the USACE Planning Center of Expertise for Water Management and Reallocation Studies. Prior to joining the Corps in 2009, Brad worked in the private sector as a project manager and engineer for the study, design and construction of water supply and flood risk management projects ranging from treatment plant pilot studies and residential storm drainage to metropolitan area water system and river basin flood risk mapping studies. He holds a BSE in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, a MSE in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Texas and a graduate certificate in Risk Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University. He is a former Army officer, licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers.
