We are looking for a motivated team player to join our phenomenal team as a GS-5/7 Administrative  Support Assistant (0303 series), supporting the Institute for Water Resources (IWR) Water Resources Center in Alexandria, Virginia.  This is NOT your average Administrative  Support Assistant, it is a diverse role in a unique Civil Works organization within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that welcomes your talents, initiative, and desire to grow and learn.

Duties:

  • Oversees administrative policies and procedures
  • Handles labor/payroll, travel, and procurement tasks
  • Manages correspondence, mail, and inventory
  • Utilizes spreadsheets and databases for reporting
  • Develops automation processes for efficiency
  • Supports conferences and meetings
