The mission of the Water Resources Center (WRC) is
To solve USACE’s water resources challenges by analyzing and developing innovative and implementable methods, tools, and strategies.
The strategic goals for the WRC are:
- Identify and propose actionable solutions to emerging challenges in water resources & to shifting water resource priorities
- Develop and promote appropriate methods and tools to solve water resources challenges.
- Analyze, develop and inform strategic priorities to enhance water resources management.
- Provide expert technical assistance and expertise for solving the most complex water resource challenges.
- Leverage advancements in data, science, technology, engineering and their intersections to improve USACE processes and outcomes.
