The Town Hall and Awards Ceremony is an annual event providing an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments which was captured this year by a highly entertaining and informative presentation.  With a lot of new faces at IWR, Mr. Pietrowsky gave the new employees, interns, and visiting scholars the opportunity to introduce themselves to the rest of the IWR staff before all attention was turned to the awards ceremony.

Part of the awards ceremony included the announcement of the newly inductees of former IWR staff into the Institute’s Gallery of Distinguished IWR Employees and a special acknowledgement of employees who reached five through 40 years of federal service.  One of those recipients, Ms. Sandra Phillips, was acknowledged for her 40 years of service, all with the Corps Institute for Water Resources.
