Flood risk management is the shared responsibility of many governmental, tribal, and private agencies. Communication and collaboration between these various agencies is an important step in effectively managing flood risks. USACE hosted an interagency workshop to promote sharing of knowledge and experiences among flood risk management professionals.

Objectives of the 2017 Interagency Flood Risk Management Workshop Objectives include the following:
- Unify our interagency flood risk management team.
- Share repeatable and achievable interagency successes in flood risk management.
- Enhance interagency capacity to deliver integrated and adaptive approaches to flood risk management.
