The responsibilities and purpose of the IWR Water Supply Business Line Manager include:

• Develop the water supply portion of the yearly Civil Works budget.
• Have knowledge of all IWR and Civil Works activities related to the respective business line
• To understand and seek the Corps Business Line future needs, identify information gaps, and provide support for future initiatives.
• Maintain an understanding of the concerns and problems of the HQ Business Lines Proponent and investigate what IWR skills are available to assist the HQ Business Lines Proponent and propose IWR projects and funding priorities to the Director.
