Inter-American Committee on Ports (OAS)

The General Secretariat of the Organization of American States division for the Inter-American Committee on Ports and the U.S. Section, International Navigation Association (PIANC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to encourage collaboration in the fields of navigation and port sector development. This MOU provides a framework for cooperation on issues relating to technology, training and information exchange that can lead to increased port efficiency. IWR acts as an agent for U.S. Section, PIANC in implementing portions of this MOU.

Purpose: This partnership aims to encourage the exchange of information and technical and practical experience that can help achieve a sustainable navigation system for the Americas.
