The CPCX has released the final version of its strategic plan for 2021-2025. This plan (the third since designation of the CX in 2008) outlines the focus and direction of the Center of Expertise to 2025.

CPCX Supports Virtual Collaboration During COVID

CPCX has promoted virtual collaboration skills, methods, and tools for years. When COVID-19 hit in March 2020, CPCX immediately responded with a webinar series designed to help Districts shift internal and external collaborations to virtual platforms. CPCX acted quickly to move its training courses online, mastering the platforms of WebEx, Blackboard, and Google Classroom. The instructors’ use of virtual technology to deliver Public Involvement and Teaming in Planning was recently called “groundbreaking” by ULC leadership.

WRDA 2020 Stakeholder Listening Sessions

CPCX facilitated a series of virtual listening sessions for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works and USACE HQ to receive input and recommendations on the Water Resources Development of Act of 2020. Stakeholders and other interested parties provided input on WRDA 2020 provisions that may require implementation guidance.
