IWR Tide Tool

The IWR Tide Tool makes use of standard astronomical tidal prediction techniques and databases of tidal stations.  The Tide Tool generates tidal height and current information for primary and secondary tidal stations as well as statistics on tidal availability, for example the cumulative distribution function of tidal availability at a location.   A geographical interface making use of Google Earth™ allows for simple identification of tidal stations, and supports creation of secondary tidal stations for use in HarborSym.  Output can be generated and saved in standard spreadsheet formats.

The latest release of the IWR Tide Tool, version 1.1.0.0, is available for download.

Installation procedures for this toolset vary slightly depending on the version of Windows operating system (64 or 32 bit). Please reference the user guide below for detailed system requirements and installation instructions. Variations of these instructions depending on 32 or 64 bit operating system are provided as they arise.

The HarborSym team would be happy to assist you with any issues or questions you may have. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your particular planning needs.
