Shared Vision Planning Team Supports ICIWaRM Peruvian Workshop

The Shared Vision Planning team recently supported IWR's International Center for Integrated Water Resources Management (ICIWaRM) at an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) workshop for Peru's National Water Authority (ANA) on August 17-21, 2009 in Lima, Peru. The workshop centered around integrated participatory water resources planning tools. The project was in support of a World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) loan initiative to modernize water management in Peru.

IWR's Shared Vision Planning team provided technical support for the workshop and a follow-on session with the World Bank, IDB, and ANA staff. The follow-on session served as a forum to revise the terms of reference for implementation of the World Bank loan according to integrated and participatory water resources management principles.
